Jon Lee Wiki, Age, Family, Career, Biography- Jon Lee is an English singer and actor. Lee is the youngest member of the S Club pop group, who broke up in April 2003 and reassembled in March 2023.  In the British Disney Channel animated series Famous 5: On the Case, Lee portrayed Max. Between Christmas and New Year’s 2008-09, he appeared in the pantomime Peter Pan at Hastings’ White Rock Theatre. Lee and the event were both well received. Later that year, Lee appeared in Nick Moran’s new film Telstar as Billy Fury. On May 22, 2010, he appeared as Craig, a motor neurone disease patient, in BBC One’s Casualty.

He played John in Laurence Mark Wythe’s internationally acclaimed musical Tomorrow Morning at the Landor Theatre in London. The next Christmas and New Year’s, Lee performed Prince Charming in Cinderella at Woking’s New Victoria Theatre.

Jon Lee grew raised in South Devon and attended Decoy Primary School in Newton Abbot before moving to Ipplepen with his family when he was seven years old. Lee was “always doing plays” despite not attending acting school. He joined a theater club and afterward took part in amateur dramatics. He continued his education at Coombshead College, a Newton Abbot comprehensive school that emphasized the arts and theater. There was a theatrical wing at the school, as well as a dance studio and a recording studio. Lee, who was 13 at the time, was awarded a scholarship to the Sylvia Young Theater Institute in central London, an elite institution with about 150 pupils.

Lee, then 13, was hired as Fagin in the London Palladium Theatre’s West End production of Oliver!, opposite Jonathan Pryce and later George Layton. In 1997, Lee debuted as Julian in the musical Famous Five Smugglers’ Gold. Lee was a member of the musical group S Club 7, which rose to notoriety after participating in their own BBC television series, Miami 7, in 1999. During their five years together, they had four UK No.1 singles, one UK No.1 album, hits all across Europe, and a top-ten song in the US, Asia, Latin America, and Africa. They released four studio albums and eleven singles, selling over fourteen million copies worldwide.

In 2001, the group was named Record of the Year. After Paul Cattermole quit the band in 2002, the name was changed from S Club 7 to just S Club. S Club declared its demise during a live onstage performance on April 21, 2003. Lee initially played Marius in Les Misérables at London’s Palace Theatre in 2004, and he returned to the role once the production was moved to the Queen’s Theatre. He co-starred in the new musical Love Shack alongside Steps’ Faye Tozer and Hear’Say’s Noel Sullivan, which incorporated disco oldies and chart-topping dance tracks.

In August 2006, Lee featured in The Heather Brothers’ production of Teen Scream at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. He returned to the London stage in 2010 with the musical Tomorrow Morning. Lee worked on a variety of different musical projects before returning to the stage, including BBC’s “The Sound of Musicals.”  He recorded a song for the CD Act One – Songs From Alexander S. Bermange’s Musicals, which included 20 new recordings by 26 West End performers, in 2008. It was released in November 2008 by Dress Circle Records.
