Jon Lee grew raised in South Devon and attended Decoy Primary School in Newton Abbot before moving to Ipplepen with his family when he was seven years old. In 1997, Lee debuted as Julian in the musical Famous Five Smugglers’ Gold. Lee was a member of the musical group S Club 7, which rose to notoriety after participating in their own BBC television series, Miami 7, in 1999. During their five years together, they had four UK No.1 singles, one UK No.1 album, hits all across Europe, and a top-ten song in the US, Asia, Latin America, and Africa. They released four studio albums and eleven singles, selling over fourteen million copies worldwide.
